About the Team

Eden Hurn

Ecologist

Eden completed her Bachelor in Wildlife Science (UQ) in 2022 followed by her Bachelor of Science in Environment and Sustainability (USQ) in 2024 (First Class Honours). Her Honours was centred around "Using Artificial Refuges to Survey Herpetofauna on the Darling Downs".

She has extensive experience from working as a Research Assistant with USQ where she worked with Condamine Earless Dragons, Koalas, Collared Delmas and various other Australian Native species. She also has experience volunteering wildlife educators, rehabilitators and other research students, giving her a diverse range of skills with different stakeholders and species of wildlife.

Eden is passionate about Wildlife Conservation and coming up with solutions that will benefit human and wildlife needs.
